About Founder

Harmanjit Kaur completed her Ph.D. in Biotechnology in 2012 from Thapar University, India, specializing in Natural Plant Products and Plant Tissue Culture. Her doctoral research focused on micropropagation, along with the extraction, characterization, and purification of bioactive metabolites from medicinal plants such as Stevia rebaudiana and Tylophora indica. During this time, she published 18 peer-reviewed research papers and actively participated in numerous national and international conferences, workshops, and incubation programs. She has also served as a reviewer for several journals in the fields of plant sciences and biochemistry.

Following her Ph.D., she held diverse roles in R&D, Quality & Compliance and Regulatory functions across multiple organizations in India including Punjab Agricultural University. In 2016, she moved to Sweden to pursue a postdoctoral fellowship at Stockholm University. She subsequently worked with leading pharmaceutical companies before joining one of the largest biomanufacturing centres – Sweden Bio manufacturing Centre (SBC) at AstraZeneca as an Analytical Scientist. She contributed to analytical development supporting respiratory and carcinogenic drugs, as well as COVID-19 booster vaccine.

She has since embarked on her entrepreneurial journey in Canada, leveraging her extensive research background and multidisciplinary expertise gained across academia and industry. Her mission is to bridge scientific innovation with natural solutions that support human health and well-being—where plant science meets pharmaceutical innovation.
